The vending machines in the ice arena are a popular spot for students after school to buy snacks. Blake makes roughly $100,000 dollars off of the vending machines per month, adding up to $1,200,000 yearly. Blake is finally realizing that they can be even more successful in the vending machine business by introducing them to classrooms.
This summer, they are installing a vending machine for every classroom and hallway in the middle school to prepare for the 2025-2026 school year. The new vending machines aren’t stopping at food.
Many will also be equipped with beauty products, extra phone and computer chargers, and homework passes.
An anonymous member on the school treasury board said, “We’re expecting a huge increase in our vending machine income next school year. All of us on the school treasury board are really hopeful this new investment will pay off. We think the students will be excited too, based off of how regularly they use the original vending machines in the ice arena.”
