Flooding is a big problem. Why? Flooding is making villages, cities, and even homes flood underwater. This is very bad. Although scientists predict that the whole world will never be underwater, flooding is becoming a very big problem across the whole map. The country that will most likely be underwater is Japan. Japan is an island off the coast of Asia and is surrounded by water. The rising sea levels have started to rise and flood towns and cities including Wajima, Suzu, and Noto. Other countries that scientists predict will be affected and will be underwater first are the Maldives, Tuvalu, the Marshall Islands, Nauru and Kiribati. Tuvalu, formerly known as the Ellice Islands, is located midway between Hawaii and Australia in the South Pacific Ocean. The Maldives are southwest of Sri Lanka and India. Nauru is in the South Pacific Ocean south of the Marshall Islands in Oceania. Kiribati is located in Micronesia in the central Pacific Ocean, about 4,000 km southwest of Hawaii
