The Usher Halftime Show Review

You could say the Usher halftime show was good, you could also say it was bad. Let's take a look at the minds of a few people who had strong opinions.

Dair: What did you think about the Usher halftime show?

Aidan Lall: It was a good halftime show but it could have been better. In general there have been better performances but this one was very impressive with all of his stunts and going on roller skates. Most halftime performances are lip-synced but this one, Usher actually sang into the mic.

Dair: How do you think the halftime show went this year?

Ian Zimmerman: It was absolutely [terrible] because it was just [trash] and … we just didn't like it.

Henry Parker: Also Usher was sweating a lot.

Dair: Do you think that the Usher Halftime show was good?

Eddie Cloutier: I thought it was all right. There've been better but it was better than I thought it would be. Usher was decent.

Now I would take the sides of all of these people and say that it for sure could have been better. In my opinion, there is nothing that stood out. Some people would say that the part on roller skates or the part where Usher took his shirt off stood out but I don't agree. I think that all he did was sing his songs.

If you look at what Aidan Lall said, you can see that he thinks Usher actually sang. I agree. If you're not going to be floating in the air, you might as well sing rather than lip-sync. Since he wasn’t, I agree that he actually sang.

So you can see that I didn’t think he was the best. His singing and dancing were great but his elaboration and outfits were not. This is because he was more in it to sing rather than to do crazy stunts. I mentioned earlier that all he did was sing his songs and if I asked all of you, I bet you would agree.

When you look at the last main judged part you see sidekicks. When I say sidekicks I mean the people who helped him. Aside from Usher, the others who took part were Alicia Keys, H.E.R., Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon, and Ludacris. Recognize any of those? This is why I gave it 4 stars - because I knew only a few of the performers, but maybe you know more than me. Songs. It's an interesting topic and it’s something that I pondered about. I knew a few of the songs from old times but some were new to me. If I knew these songs, I could better grade this subject.

To summarize, Usher’s performance was not a grade-A show. Though he sang and danced, nothing stood out to me. His ‘sidekicks’ were okay and so were his songs. To see the halftime show you can search up the following code or just “Usher Halftime Show” and go to YouTube.
