The Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Timberwolves have both had very up and down season

First, the Vikings. This was a successful season for them. For starters, they had 13 wins and 4 losses, nearly, winning the division and nearly getting a first-round bye. Justin Jefferson had a breakout season, getting close to two thousand yards. After getting multiple consecutive 100-yard games in a row, he was named the OPOY (Offensive Player Of The Year) and was one of the finalists for the NFL MVP. In one game this season, the Colts were up 33-0, and everyone thought that the Vikings would lose. They thought wrong! After a series of touchdowns, we brought the game to 36-36 going into overtime. Then with seconds left in the game, Greg Joseph won the game for us with a 40 yard comeback in NFL history. For he first game of or playoffs,we faced the giants. I was at the game, and it was a bit sad. We were favored because it was a three-seed (us) versus a six-seed (them). We lost, ending our football season. Next and lastly, the Timberwolves. Now, our season isn’t over just yet, but the season has been disappointing so far. The Rudy Gobert trade was not what we were expecting it to be, but part of why we are so bad this year is that Karl-Anthony Towns has been injured since November 28th, not playing a game since. Anthony Edwards has had a breakout season, racking up his first All-Star appearance of many. At the time I am writing this, he is averaging 25.0 points per game, 6.0 rebounds per game, and 4.5 assists per game. When I am writing this, we are 35-35, being the seven seed in the playoffs currently. The Rudy Gobert trade was supposed to be a win-now trade, but we are worse this season than we are last season. We also just made a trade for Mike Conley, probably a future Hall Of Famer. I actually met a few of the Timberwolves players at a game I went to, and Karl-Anthony Towns is very nice. I know that was irrelevant but I wanted to say that. In general, the main takeaway so far from this season is that we have a future superstar in Anthony Edwards, who has been absolutely incredible for us this season. It is also a shame that Karl-Anthony Towns couldn’t play this season due to him straining his right calf very early in the season. This season won’t be absolutely horrible though. Because in my opinion, we have a very good chance to make the playoffs and we may get decently far in them.
