Karl-Anthony Towns after scoring a career high sixty points

The Minnesota Timberwolves are Minnesota’s basketball team. They arguably made the most significant trade in the offseason. But first, let’s talk about their history. The wolves were founded in 1989. In 1995, we drafted one of the best power forwards in NBA history. In 2004, we had our best season ever. Our best player Kevin Garnett won MVP. We were also number one in our conference, winning 58 games out of 82. The next time we made the playoffs was in 2018, which was a SUPER bad streak of not making the playoffs. But we made it last season, which was good. Karl-Anthony Towns had a breakout year and we won 46 games.
But back to the trade. A player named Rudy Gobert is a 3-time DPOY (Defensive Player Of The Year). He is one of the best centers in basketball period. And we traded for him. But we gave them a lot for him: Patrick Beverley, Jarred Vanderbilt, Malik Beasley, Leandro Bolmaro, Walker Kessler, 4 first-round picks, and 1 pick swap. A lot for 1 player, but I think he will make our team a lot better. We also have the 2020 number 1 pick Anthony Edwards, Who is INCREDIBLE. Next year a lot of NBA fans predict him to be one of the 20-15 best players in the NBA, and a lot think he’ll make an All-NBA team (the first team is the best point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, and center. Then second best at each, then third).
Then what almost everyone thinks is our best player currently, Karl-Anthony Towns (KAT). If you don’t say he’s a top 15 player in the NBA last season you’re crazy, but he wasn’t good in the Playoffs. In the regular season, if you don’t include the MVP and the MVP runner-up, he was probably the best center in the NBA last season. But in the Playoffs, Anthony Edwards was our best player. KAT wasn’t great in the playoffs, but he was in the regular season.
GO WOLVES!!!
