Bad Bunny made history when he won the Album of the Year award. This was such a fun and emotional part to watch, as Bad Bunny made a mood-changing speech when he received the award. Bad Bunny broke barriers, winning against other nominees, Kendrick Lamar, and Lady Gaga. Overall, I loved seeing Bad Bunny get this award.
The Record of the year went to the song “luther” by Kendrick Lamar (ft. SZA). This was also a big moment because it marked a milestone for Kendrick Lamar, who has now won this category for two consecutive years. Overall, this was a super fun part to watch as Kendrick Lamar got a Grammy again!
Billie Eilish won the Song of the Year. “Wildflower”. This was super fun to see because she released this album called “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT” about a year ago. It is always fun to see a new-ish song take a big role. This was also a historical moment for her because it brought her Grammy count to 10!
Olivia Dean won Best New Artist! This was a big moment because she is a rising star! She performed “Man I need” at the Grammys. She also spoke out taking about how she is a granddaughter of an immigrant. “I’m up here as a granddaughter of an immigrant. I’m a product of bravery, and I think those people deserve to be celebrated". This was a big moment for Olivia! Looks like we have a new rising star!
