The Art Room

When we move to the other campus, art will change. Although this will not affect middle schoolers, we should still take it into thought.

Before you even start the class, you will look at the room. The Hopkins art room is just a regular classroom with art supplies. Meanwhile, the Highcroft art room was specially designed and is a piece of art in itself.

“I feel like the art room isn’t nearly decorated enough.” a fourth grader said. Five kids are planning to change that. Grace, Lillian, Analese, & Mary-Ellen are going to decorate the room

Another thing that we’ll miss are half groups. Now, lower school students have 90 minute periods of art once a week. This might be better so students can finish projects during one class. But, the frequency of art will be gone.

As middle school students, we will get art every other day, but only for a quarter of the year.
