Here at Blake 4th graders are studying trout, a type of Minnesota fish. There are many types of trout. They are studying Rainbow Trout.
Rainbow trout do not have any rainbow things to do with them.
The rainbow trout are not fully grown yet. They are at the fry stage.
They are fed every day. They are fed at least a pinch every day of their food.
They can grow very big so the tank is big. They are released when they are the size of a hand which is not so big. The trout can grow 20 to 30 inches long.
The trout have many fins here are the fin names, Dorsal fin the big fin at the top, Adipose fin at the top back, Caudal fin at the tail, Anal fin at the back botom, Pelvic fin at the botom, Pectoral fin the “steering weel” of the fish.
