Secret Rooms in Highcroft

In honor of Highcroft's closing, I have put together a collection of unknown rooms and passages in the school. Here they are:

If you were ever new to Highcroft, you might know passageways that lifers don’t know. In Mr. Halpern’s new kid tour, he takes you through an emergency exit stairwell that also goes to the roof (the tour doesn’t actually go onto the roof). There’s a door to this stairway in the music, art, & theater rooms. The door exits across from the swings on the upper playground.

If you do strings, you might know that Ms. Kalika’s room used to be a locker room, but did you know that next to it, there is another locker room? This is one of the only rooms that Blake doesn’t use for anything. There used to be roller racers there, but they were moved into another storage room.

If you go into the meeting room, there are many doors. One of them goes into the library, and is only there for fire codes. The other side of the door is right behind the Apple TV by the everybody books.

There are also 2 doors on the wall in between the two exits. The one on the right is just a maintenance closet & is usually locked. But the door on the left is more interesting. It has two parts to the door, that hint that it may have been a school store. It has been features in the movie “The Stamp Act & the Sugar act - The Musical”, as Mr. Burton's store. The closet holds a variety of bags & baskets but is mostly unused.

Everybody knows about this last room, but not everybody knows the Secret it contains. The PE storage room lies next to Mr Shelp and Mr Fuller's office. it holds the ladder. not just any ladder, though. It leads to the roof. Not much is known about it as it is only used for emergencies (none have happened yet).

Although those are far from all the secret passageways in the school, this article comes to an end. There are many, many more in the Blake campus, left for you to explore. Meanwhile, explore Highcroft while you can.
