Kendrick Lamar Hired to Teach New Rap Course

Fresh off the Superbowl halftime show, Kendrick Lamar was hired for the new rap teacher position at Blake. Kendrick will start his new job at the start of next school year, after his and SZA’s Grand National Tour. Now’s the time to enroll in the new class - there are only 10 spots in the exclusive class.

Blake is thrilled about Lamar’s interest in teaching. “We think this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for students to learn from a professional rapper,” said Dr. Ilah Raleigh, PK-12 Director of Visual and Performing Arts.
